What exactly is a dream car? A Ferrari? A Lamborghini? A Rolls Royce? A Mercedes? No arguments there, but what about the Henry J, the Ruxton or the Wolseley? Aren't they, too, the stuff dreams are made of? Every car, no matter how mundane it may seem, involved someone's dream. An engineer looking for a new type of suspension system. A designer with a better solution to an aerodynamic problem. Or in the case of the truly great cars, a man of singular vision for whom the car was a vehicle to express his art.

And what of the consumer? Beauty certainly is in the eye of the car buyer. Who's to say what emotions are evoked in a fender flare or rocker panel trim, what childhood memories recalled in a flash of chrome? Perhaps your particular dream car is included here.
